Lisa Stempien assists Michigan families, individuals and businesses with estate and succession planning, probate, regulatory compliance, litigation, municipal law and education advocacy. Lisa is a graduate of Wayne State University School of Law and Michigan State University School of Human Ecology. She has previously enjoyed teaching Business and Business Law courses to graduate and undergraduate students and reading comprehension to students of all ages.

Lisa has shown her deep commitment to the community through her long-term involvement in local charities such as the Oakland County Bar Association’s Teacher, Lawyers, Children (TLC) program, Michigan State University Master Gardener program, and Detroit Abloom model land-use demonstration project, Vista Maria home for vulnerable youth in Dearborn Heights, and Ascension Health Board of Review and Appeal for Recipient’s Rights.

Lisa grew up in Livonia and now lives in Novi, Michigan. When not helping clients, she enjoys hiking with her rescue terrier, gardening, and glass-blowing.
