Monique Esparza has a strong foundation in criminal defense and litigation support, built through more than eight years of experience in a busy law practice before earning her Juris Doctor. While attending law school at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, she worked full-time as a paralegal and office manager, balancing the demands of a legal career with the rigorous requirements of legal education. In addition to Monique’s legal work, she has held leadership and office management responsibilities, overseeing daily firm operations, coordinating staff and interns, and ensuring that clients receive attentive and responsive service. Her background combines hands-on litigation experience with strong organizational and communication skills, enabling her to provide thoughtful, detail-oriented representation while maintaining a client-focused approach to every matter.

When Monique is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is an avid online gamer and enjoys the strategic thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork that it fosters.
